In terms of climate, Australia has four seasons throughout the year, but northern Australia only has wet and dry seasons. Australia is in the Southern Hemisphere, so all  seasons are opposite to those in the Northern Hemisphere. When it's summer in the Northern Hemisphere, it's winter in Australia, and when it's summer in Australia, it's winter in the Northern Hemisphere. Australia has no official language. However, the most widely spoken language in Australia is English.
